I actually like this, not necessarily the ad itself per se, but the (presumed) fact that some random dude, not a politician, made it. And yes, nothing is stopping political groups from posting similar clips, but is this any different from network TV? Barack Obama said on "Larry King Live", "One of the things about the Internet is that people generate all kinds of stuff. In some ways, it's the democratization of the campaign process." I agree. Democrats, Hilary Clinton is not your savior.
I agree that the internets and technology have democratized certain processes in our lives. For example, three schmucks can now make a short movie, and actually have a forum for people to see it. That's great. But what this signals to me is that any campaign can now serepticiously create any kind of misleading, scare-tactic attack ad, with no conscience for accuracy or logic, and have it broadcast for a limitless audience completely for free. Remember the bullshit Swiftboat assholes. They at least had to pay a lot of money to get their fictitious ad on the air. With this, though, there's no monetary restraint, but what's worse, there's no accountability.
