life seems so simple
based on the principle
of happiness
but unless a smile
appears on every face
our project will
become commonplace!
yet I want to love
love as if I've never lived
and give to those who
still believe in love
but I was brought up
with a simple idea of
love
and that is the dream
I want to follow!
though life may be
prejudice and hollow
my simple heart says
it's not true.
But i gaze unto you
my muse
why is a simple dream
so hard to
swollow?
